You're an experienced Millwright who knows crushing equipment-and delivers.
We're looking for someone who can keep production moving by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing crushers and processing systems in a fast-paced surface mining environment. You take ownership of your work, prioritize safety, and don't let equipment downtime slow you down.
From inspections and FLHAs to hands-on repairs, you bring the core skills needed to keep operations running efficiently and reliably.
Join Ledcor in Hawthorne, NV and be part of a team that values performance, safety, and getting the job done right.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on crushing and processing equipment to keep production on target
  • Maintain and service key components including jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, belts, gearboxes, bearings, chutes, and liners
  • Complete welding and cutting tasks as required (MIG, Stick, OxyAcetylene)
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA) to identify and control risks before work begins
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues and determine repair methods
  • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance (including vibration analysis), and align, test, and adjust equipment for reliability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, report equipment issues, and communicate effectively with operations and maintenance teams

Qualifications

  • Proven experience maintaining equipment in industrial or surface mining environments (crushing plant experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with crushers, conveyors, and rotating equipment in production-driven settings
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operations and maintenance teams
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements, including respirator fit testing if required
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • MSHA Part 48 (Metal/Non-Metal) certification preferred (training can be provided)

Working Conditions

  • 10-12 hour shifts on varying schedules, including potential night shifts
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
  • Living Out Allowance (LOA) provided
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits
  • Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Long-term, stable employment opportunity
