Position Overview


We are seeking a Millwright Project Manager to lead industrial equipment projects from concept through completion while building strong, solutions-driven client relationships. This role combines technical expertise with project management and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings hands-on millwright knowledge, a strong customer orientation, and the ability to manage multiple projects while driving new and existing business growth across a wide-variety of industries.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong, solutions-oriented relationships with new and existing customers. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client accounts, identifying opportunities to expand services and grow business. 
  • Develop, prepare, and present estimates and proposals using industry knowledge and internal processes. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to communicate project requirements, timelines, and customer needs. 
  • Monitor project performance, including financials, resource allocation, and delivery outcomes. 
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on current projects and future sales opportunities. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality results that meet or exceed expectations. 
  • Support contract review and documentation, including AIA-related materials as applicable.

Requirements


Qualifications

  • Proven experience with industrial or production facility equipment, including installation, repair, modification, and relocation. 
  • Demonstrated success managing industrial projects, including financial, timeline, and resource management. 
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build relationships, network, and communicate effectively. 
  • Experience with project estimation and a solid understanding of sales processes. 
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive a team-based approach to project execution. 
  • Proficiency with software tools for CRM, estimating, project financial management, and project close-out. 
  • Working knowledge of contract review processes; AIA document experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. 
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification preferred.

Physical & Mental Demands


While performing the duties of the job, the following is required: 

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. 
  • Frequent walking of job sites, including uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and confined spaces. 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed. 
  • Must wear and comply with required PPE for job site safety.

Salary & Benefits


This is a salaried, exempt role, paying at an annual gross range between $105K - $125K, depending on experience, plus eligibility to earn incrementally via our incentive programs.
