Job description

West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: WRLG; OTCQB: WRLGF) is a publicly traded mineral exploration company focused on discovering new gold mines in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwest Ontario, Canada. Be a part of the initial team to grow and operate a regionally significant new underground mine development that is rapidly becoming the future of the iconic Red Lake gold mining district in Ontario, Canada.


Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will work in a local job on a 14-on / 14-off rotation, alternating between day and night shifts, and maintain production capacity of diesel/gasoline powered heavy equipment machinery with regular Preventative maintenance, and provide overall production target support for the
Red Lake Madsen Mine team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow safe working practices and site safety guidelines

Maintain heavy equipment with regular preventative maintenance and on the job repair to minimize downtime

Utilize training and developed skills to clean, lubricate adjust, inspect, repair, diagnose, and replace major components, along with air, hydraulic, water, fuel, brake, and low voltage electrical systems on all gasoline powered mining and support equipment

Update safety and production work orders and reports

Other duties as assigned


Skills and Experience:

Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trade Certification (Red Seal) or related field

Extensive experience with the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty mining equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Excellent proven team player approach to work

Valid driver's license
