Job description

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking a Rope Access JP Electrician to join our team for long-term maintenance work in the Fort McMurray area. This isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to grow your skills, expand your expertise, and make a real impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Position Information: 

  • Start Date: August 29, 2026
  • 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts
  • IRATA Level 1 Certification required, or willingness to obtain
  • Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
  • Camp provided
Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
  • Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
  • Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician Certification Required
  • IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain

Safety Certifications

  • CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO or ESC CSO
