About the Role:
Elsinore Valley Rentals Inc is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Heavy Equipment Rental Counter Representative to join our team in Lake Elsinore, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of our rental operation, helping contractors, construction crews, and DIYers get the right equipment for the job. If you love heavy equipment and thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at the rental counter in selecting the appropriate heavy equipment and general tools for their projects
  • Process rental agreements, contracts, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate equipment availability, scheduling, and reservations
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and document condition before and after rentals
  • Communicate equipment operating instructions and safety guidelines to customers
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked counter area and yard inventory
  • Upsell accessories, attachments, and additional rental services to meet customer needs
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in equipment rental, construction, or a related industry preferred
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and compactors
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy counter environment
  • Basic computer skills for processing rentals and managing inventory
