Job description

About the Role:

The Concrete Finisher plays a critical role in the construction industry by ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards of quality and durability. This position involves preparing, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete for a variety of projects including sidewalks, roads, foundations, and other structural elements. The Concrete Finisher must work efficiently and safely with a strong attention to detail to achieve smooth, even surfaces that meet project specifications and regulatory standards. Collaboration with other construction professionals is essential to coordinate tasks and maintain project timelines. Ultimately, the Concrete Finisher contributes to the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of construction projects across diverse environments in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar construction role.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in concrete finishing or related construction trades.
  • Experience with underground utility installation and excavation.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols.
