We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer, DevOpsto join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies.This role willreporttoSr Director Software Engineeringand based inSan Jose, CA.This is a fully on-site, in officerole5 days a week.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain DevOps tooling, automation, and infrastructure workflows.
  • Stand up and manageKubernetes clusters outside of cloud providers(baremetal or onprem).
  • Implement and maintaininfrastructureascode,policyascode, andconfigascodepatterns.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex system and integration issues across services, middleware, and data layers.
  • Develop scripts and tools-primarily inPython-to support automation, CI/CD, and integration tasks.
  • Work with databases and middleware technologies to support service integrations and reliability.
  • Follow strongSDLC disciplineincluding documentation, testing, code reviews, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams on architecture, deployments, and operational improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-8 years of strong DevOps background with excellent debugging and integration skills.
  • Solid development skills usingPython; familiarity with compiled languages (e.g., Go, Rust, C++) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Middleware components and service communication patterns
    • Databases (SQL/NoSQL), time-series databases
    • Event driven architectures and highly scalable systems
    • Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and administration
    • Infrastructureascode / configuration management tools
  • Proficiency withgitand modern development workflows.
  • Strong SDLC discipline, engineering rigor, and attention to detail.

Nice to have Skills

  • Experience writing and maintainingHelm charts.
  • Deep familiarity withcontainersandpackage registries.
