Job description

Welcome to Resideo, where we're transforming homes into intelligent, efficient, and secure living spaces through the power of IoT-connected devices. As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the core of our mission-building robust, scalable Mobile and Web app flows as well as the corresponding API endpoints to support them, with the focus on creating a delightful experience for the customer.
You will work across a modern software stack to ingest, process, and serve high-volume telemetry from HVAC, security, and energy systems. You will partner with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and platform engineers to drive the implementation of hardware installation, data visualization and real-time alerting. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and possesses strong software design and coding skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable Mobile and Web applications to support connected HVAC and smart home devices.
  • Collaborate with cloud, product, and AI/ML teams to deliver software capabilities that support new features and customer experiences.
  • Contribute to platform improvements and help establish engineering patterns, templates, and documentation.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on UX or mobile app development.
  • Strong understanding of .NET, C# and networking.
  • Strong skills in at least one framework (e.g. Xamarin/MAUI or Flutter, etc...) developing for both iOS and Android.
  • Familiarity with ReactJS
  • Understanding of database design and utilization.
  • Hands-on experience with product launch and go to market strategies.

WE VALUE
  • Exposure to connected devices or IoT-related systems.
  • Ability to traverse the entire software stack.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, smart home, or industrial systems a plus.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD and GitHub actions.
  • A pragmatic mindset-balancing engineering excellence with speed and business impact.
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in shipping high-quality, maintainable systems.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • High Impact: Own and deliver critical platform initiatives that power millions of connected devices worldwide
  • Technical Leadership: Lead real projects and shape architecture, not just contribute code
  • End-to-End Ownership: See your work through from concept to production and long-term operation
  • Growth Path: Clear runway toward Staff/Principal engineering or platform leadership roles
  • Modern Stack: Azure cloud, event-driven systems, large-scale telemetry, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices
  • Work in a Hybrid setting (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements
