Inside Sales Fluke Calibration  Job Overview

Fluke Calibration is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager for our calibration hardware and software solutions as well as our innovative SaaS products. 

Inside Sales Account Managers are responsible for facilitating the sales process to generate new sales opportunities or upsell of company products via telephone, email or other electronic communication. You will oversee responses to customer order and quotation requests for all levels of accounts received via outside field salespersons, telephone and/or written correspondence.

In this role, you will be responsible for calibration equipment and software Inside Sales activity. You will partner with and support Fluke Calibration's field sales team to improve customer excitement, sales opportunities, resulting revenue and support the long-term Fluke Calibration strategic plan. Our ideal candidate will be highly driven to serve customers and have technical skills for learning electrical, pressure, temperature or flow calibration solutions, software calibration solutions as well as SaaS product offerings. Primary Responsibilities

  •  Facilitate the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution and overall customer service and support
  •  Prospect, source and prioritize new sales opportunities by phone and email to achieve your sales goals by maximizing customer-facing time
  •  Build and Adapt individual communication approach by customer relationships to understand their needs and remain responsive to changing customer goals and challenges.
  •  Support Fluke Calibration Field sales to provide an excellent customer experience by providing timely and accurate quotations, technical information, adding funnel in CRM, moving opportunities through the funnel and contribute to top line growth by meeting or exceeding the North American calibration sales target. 
  •  Provide customer follow-up activities on behalf of the field sales team, driving late stage opportunities through to a successful close for one or more of the product families (Electrical, Pressure, Flow, Temperature or Software products). 
  •  Represent Fluke Calibration as calibration generalist to customers, representatives, sales support and the business unit in all sales-oriented activities to deliver an outstanding experience to Fluke Calibration customers. 
  •  Demonstrate perseverance and diligence to overcome customer concerns and close sales opportunities
  •  Generate profitable growth through quota attainment. 
  • Associate or bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, another related field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role with comfort spending 50% or more of the day working with customers over the phone
  • Excellent listening and communication skills to capture and address customer needs
  • 2+ Years of related experience 
  • Metrology related experience with test, measurement, calibration or technical related experience
  • Experience using a customer relationship management tools (CRM), i.e., Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience selling hardware solutions/understanding of capital equipment purchasing process

Working Conditions

Sales are made primarily through phone and internet contacts, or through specialized website and social media. Standard office conditions flexible, work environment and possibility for working remote. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
