JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, mix fluids according to the required order, run and evaluate basic fluid checks. Completes and maintains all records assosicated with fluids. Performs maintenance on equipment (pumps, valves, hoses). Handles special projects, as assigned.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Mix drilling fluids according to instructions.
  • Load and unload trucks and railcars.
  • Clean mixing platforms and plant floors.
  • Clean hopper lines and mud guns.
  • Clean pits (inside and out), shakers, plant equipment, and tanks.
  • Repair and/or replace valves, fittings, etc.
  • Lube plant equipment on a regular basis.
  • Restock material from warehouse as needed.
  • Maintain plant facilities (pick up trash in mud plant yard, level yard with blade, repair potholes, mow grass, chopd weeks in mud plant yard, etc.)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of environmental regulations.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, or educational equivalent.
  • Entry level position.
