Responsibilities:

  • Excellent employment opportunity for a Project Manager I in the El Segundo, CA area.
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors from project initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, to monitor and track project progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project budget
  • Ensure vendor contracts are created and managed in accordance with company policy
  • Monitor project expenditure, review vendor invoices and oversee submission for payment
  • Provide measurement on project performance during and at completion of project
  • Plan and execute project update meetings
  • Develop and maintain collaborative work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate internal, vendor and project related issues, as appropriate

Experience:

  • Master's Degree & 2 years of Project Management experience or Bachelor's degree or & 4 years of Project Management
  • 6+ years of industry experience a plus
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within generally defined practices and policies that lead to processes for achieving results
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to problem solve and delegate appropriate tasks to collaborators and follow-up as needed to meet deadlines
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Project, including building complex schedules with logical relationships between successors and predecessors.
  • Experience building complex schedules utilizing sub-schedule integration structure with performing critical path analysis
  • Proven ability to manage in a highly fluid, interactive, matrixed environment
