What are 'fluff' jobs?

'Fluff' jobs is a colloquial term often used to describe roles that are perceived as non-essential, redundant, or lacking in substantive responsibilities. These positions may contribute less directly to a company's core goals or bottom line, and sometimes exist due to organizational inefficiency or bureaucratic expansion. However, the value of any job can be subjective, and what one person sees as 'fluff' might be meaningful or necessary to someone else or in a different context. It's important to assess the actual impact and responsibilities of a position before labeling it as such.
