Integrated Health 21 (IH21) is a leading provider of worksite wellness screenings and vaccination clinics across the continental United States. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, with offices in New York, Wisconsin, and Ohio, IH21 partners with employers and insurance companies to deliver customized health and wellness events. PURPOSE OF POSITION
Travel to various and administer vaccines as part of corporate wellness programs or community events, educate participants on possible adverse reactions, and follow safety protocols.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accept delivered packages and ensure all inventory is accounted for.
  • Practice appropriate storage and handling of vaccines. Document refrigeration details.
  • Greet participant and provide instructions to complete the vaccination process.
  • Follow standing orders to determine eligibility, draw up, and administer vaccine. Observe participant for adverse reaction.
  • Maintain accurate vaccination records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols as set by the company's medical directives and regulations.
  • Respond and assist to medical emergency situations. Must be able to assist participant to the floor and provide medical care up to and including CPR. Initiate contact with emergency response personnel as needed.
  • Participate in the yearly training to ensure up to date knowledge of vaccination.
  • Participate in compliance testing each year to maintain active employment status.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Travel to various corporate event locations
  • Responsible for packing and transporting serum and supplies from site to site.
  • Lift/Carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Maintain and present current nursing license in good standing
  • Maintain and present current BLS certification
  • Demonstrate professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks without detailed supervision
  • Willingness to travel from site to site necessary
  • Prior experience working in a private clinic or public health setting preferred
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, technology ability is a plus
