Job Description
Title: RN - Inpatient Rehab
Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Requirements:
- 2 years RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience with acute inpatient rehab care (cardiac, neuro, ortho, debility, amputation)
- EPIC experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on various diagnoses including pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and debility.
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with mobility, transfer techniques, and use of assistive devices.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and rehabilitation goals.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and safety measures.
Compliance / Notes:
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off
- Pre-start modules: 10-15 hours due by the Monday one week prior to start
- Orientation: 24 hours of initial training required
