Responsibilities
The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team:
Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.
Primary Responsibilities are to perform assesments and contraband searches before patient is transfered to their designated unit. communiocate Nursing hand off information to the Nursing department. Assists suring down time with making referrals to in house physicians to assess qualification for admission. And will provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to ensure loss of referals is minimilized. Monitor Intake flow via Dahsboard

Qualifications
The following are job requirements for the position of Admission Registered Nurse Position:
  • Current license to practice nursing in State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew-Compact)
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • Preferred 1-3 year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
  • CPI Certification preferred
