Job description

Eagle Harbor, LLC a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay and Federal Contracting leader is seeking Junior Logisticians to join our team in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
  • Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable/substitute items and recommend any modification necessary to the equipment.
  • Determine the effect of changes in maintenance on supply chain.
  • Asses and advice on the impact of equipment support program efforts Coast Guard wide.
  • Apply ten (10) elements of logistics to SBPL supported assets.
  • Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
  • Apply principles of Reliability-Centered Maintenance and various standards such as MIL-P-24534 Planned Maintenance System, SAE RCM Standard: JA1011, ABS RCM, and MSG 3 to SBPL supported assets
  • Asses and advice on the impact of Coast Guard, Navy, and Other Government Agency (OGA) small boat related programs on current SBPL support practices.
  • Generate and maintain maintenance standards in FLS, FLS-Mobile Asset Manager (MAM) modules and NESSS.
  • Generate and maintain maintenance parts information in FLS, FLS-MAM modules and NESSS.
  • Generate, analyze and alter allowance lists in NESSS.
  • Aid Contracting Officer Representatives (COR's) in the execution of various tasks that support the ACMS section with maintaining, developing and analyzing maintenance and supply records in FLS.
  • Review and verify completion of the Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPC) cover sheets and sign off sheets for accuracy. Verify MPCs using the most current version of CG-LIMS-STIP.
  • Update the FLS-MAM database by recording all maintenance performed to supported assets at Cutter Boat Maintenance Augmentation (CBMA) locations.
  • Change the status of maintenance tasks in FLS-MAM as directed.
  • Generate/ run reports within FLS-MAM upon request such as Work Lists (a.k.a. MDLs), and Configuration Reports.
  • Enter completed maintenance actions into the FLS-MAM database within 3 working days of receipt and notify the FLSS team lead when there is a potential of falling outside of the 3 day time frame along with a proposed corrective action plan.
  • Maintain an electronic archive of all completed maintenance actions processed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and Configuration Item Functional Description (CIFD) prior to input.
  • Upon request, verify maintenance and configuration changes that were completed in FLS have migrated to FLS-MAM.

Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must be able to pass a NACI or higher clearance prior to start
  • The Senior Logistician shall have five (5) years engaged in logistics support of Small Boat maintenance and a minimum of five (5) years of experience with the Coast Guard Logistics Business Model
  • Three (3) years of experience in utilizing the FLS and NESSS (preferred but not required)
  • Provide guidance and training to the junior logisticians
  • Coordinate with the SBPL ACMS section chief in case of fill gaps due to personnel shortage, surge in work load, adding new asset types into the IT system
  • Be the main POC for SBPL Government personnel
  • Provide monthly reports to the COR about the contract.
