Part-Time Flower Florist

Must have 2 years experience


Job Summary


We are looking for a reliable, creative, and hardworking Part-Time Flower Shop Florist to assist with daily shop/event operations. This position involves helping create floral arrangements, preparing flowers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, setting up for events and deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn all aspects of the floral business.


Responsibilities


* Assist with creating and assembling floral arrangements and bouquets

* Process, prepare, and care for fresh flowers

* Help with event, wedding, and special occasion setup and breakdown

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, work areas, coolers, and storage spaces

* Assist with receiving and unpacking flower shipments and supplies

* Support staff with deliveries and order preparation as needed

* Help customers with flower selections and general inquiries

* Perform general shop maintenance and daily tasks as assigned


Qualifications


* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods

* Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

* Strong attention to detail and organization
