Job description

SecWorldWide&Associates is hiring Unarmed Event Security Officers for a ONE TIME special event, that will take place in St.Petersburg.

  • Date of event: Sept 12, Saturday
  • Shift times: 5PM-11PM (5 hours)
  • Attire: black dress pants, black button down shirt, black dress shoes is a MUST
  • It is a one time event shift, not a full time post.
  • Rate: $25/hour

Tasks:

  • Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian traffic (bag checks, etc.)
  • Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders (wand will be used)
  • Perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area.
  • Maintain assigned fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be on time for duty (5-10 minutes before shift start)
  • Maintain professional image, greet customers, visitors and employees in a polite manner
  • Has strong customer service skills.
  • Well-disciplined, follows orders and adapts to fast-paced situations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond incidents and emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be FLUENT in ENGLISH
  • Valid Florida State Guard license is required (D).
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen.
  • Minimum 3 months prior experience in the security field.
