We aim to be our customersโ€™ most valuable supplier โ€” and we believe our employees are the key to making that happen. About the Role Delaware Valley Floral Group is looking for a Warehouse Associate - Order Picker / Packer to join our team in Sewell, NJ.

This full-time warehouse position supports a variety of activities within our order fulfillment, material handling, and shipping operations. Depending on business needs and the specific area of the warehouse, responsibilities may include order picking, packing, box picking, material handling, staging, and other warehouse support functions.

Previous warehouse experience is helpful, but we are willing to train candidates who are dependable, motivated, and ready to learn.

$16.50โ€“$18.00 per hour | Full-Time | Sundayโ€“Thursday | Afternoon Shift

What Youโ€™ll Do

Employees may be assigned to one or more warehouse functions based on business needs, experience, and training. Responsibilities may include:

  • Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or paper pick tickets.

  • Pack and prepare fresh floral orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and product quality

  • Perform material handling activities, including moving completed orders, stacking boxes, shrink wrapping, and staging pallets for shipment.

  • Use warehouse and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move inventory throughout the facility.

  • Read and verify product labels, pick tickets, order information, and other shipping documentation.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Support other warehouse activities as assigned based on operational needs.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a temperature-controlled warehouse and refrigerated cooler maintained at approximately 36ยฐF to protect the quality and freshness of our floral products.

Depending on the assigned warehouse function, employees may be required to:

  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the warehouse during the shift.

  • Safely handle boxes, cases of flowers, pallets, and other inventory.

  • Work comfortably in a refrigerated environment for the duration of the shift.

Additional days/hours or adjustments to the daily start time may be required during holidays or periods of increased workload.

Qualifications

What Youโ€™ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment, order picking, packing, material handling, shipping, receiving, retail stockroom, grocery, production, or similar environment is helpful.

  • Ability to learn warehouse procedures, equipment, and technology.

  • Ability to accurately pick and pack customer orders.

  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment maintained at approximately 36ยฐF.

  • Dependable attendance and a positive, respectful attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

  • Previous experience using RF scanners, barcode scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.

  • Experience handling fresh flowers, food, produce, or other perishable products is a plus.
