Position Summary:
As a Concierge, you have a warm and compassionate personality that finds joy in helping create meaningful and lasting impressions by welcoming people in and out of the community. A successful Concierge is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Positively interact with residents and prospective residents on a daily basis, establishing friendly rapport and warmly welcoming them into the community and directing them towards their needs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of community, residents and competitor properties at all times
  • Plan, organize and execute a wide range of virtual and in person events and activities for residents
  • Actively promote and encourage residents to participate in events and activities through multiple forms of communication
  • Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morning and throughout the day
  • Answer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments
  • Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way, when necessary
  • Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenities
  • Maintain and follow up on all communications of traffic in queue, emails and phone calls, when necessary
  • Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner's quality standards
  • Foster and develop community partnerships
  • Accepts all incoming packages (mail, floral deliveries, etc.) for residents and delivers promptly
  • Assist/Manage amenity scheduling
  • Assist team with distributing resident correspondence and notices while maintaining privacy of confidential and sensitive information
  • Accompany vendors to vacant and/or occupied units, as needed
  • Assist with lease renewals in a timely manner and promote resident retention
  • Ensure leasing office is clean, orderly, and professionally presentable at all times

Qualifications:
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
  • Experienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programs

  • Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code/uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times
