Skip's Custom Flooring Inc. is a fast-growing flooring and home products company serving customers locally and nationwide. We operate a high-volume warehouse supporting retail, contractor, and e-commerce operations. We're looking for a dependable, organized Warehouse Lead to help drive efficiency and accountability in our daily operations.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and a clean, organized workspace. This role will lead by example and work closely with sales, purchasing, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations and staff
Manage incoming and outgoing materials (receiving, staging, pickups)
Ensure all products are properly labeled, organized, and accessible
Verify accuracy of shipments, inventory counts, and order fulfillment
Coordinate with office team on work orders and material readiness
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Train and hold warehouse team accountable to procedures
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
Assist with deliveries and customer pickups when needed
Requirements
Prior warehouse experience (lead or supervisor preferred)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment
Forklift experience (or willingness to get certified)
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable using basic software / inventory systems
