About This Role

We're seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at Flooring America.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the perfect flooring for their home, taking into account factors such as quality, type, and color.

You will also be responsible for estimating and pricing projects to ensure a smooth installation process.

Able to follow up with customers throughout the project, from initial consultation to final installation.

Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with our customers.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Consultant


  • Ensure the showroom is always clean and well-maintained.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service, exceeding expectations at every turn.
  • Take ownership of the project from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for the customer.
  • Develop the skills necessary to accurately estimate and price projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on our extensive selection of flooring products, including benefits and warranties associated with each.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Personally well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for In-Home visits.
  • Desire to want to service customers and help them with all their flooring needs.
  • Sales Experience and Customer service Background a plus, but will train the right person.
