The Floor Care Supervisor for Powerworks is responsible for supervising floor care team members and ensuring that all assigned and designated facilities meet contract requirements. The Floor Care Supervisor coordinates and oversees job activities for the janitorial service contracts to ensure contract goals are met according to specifications.

Powerworks Floor Care Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Supervises, trains, and oversees floor care conducted by staff.
  • Creates a work schedule to ensure assignments are completed.
  • Assigns and distributes work teams to designated work locations.
  • Assists with implementing, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to the Quality Control Plans.
  • Conducts audits of all sites during all shifts, including those related to contractual obligations.
  • Develops and distributes daily inspection reports and directs staff to resolve any problems reported.
  • Maintains a system for the inventory and storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Follows and ensures compliance with all safety rules and the use of appropriate safety equipment.
  • Maintains a security and loss-prevention system.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers, staff, and leaders.
  • Maintains communication and strong relationships with customers.
  • Supports all aspects of operations.
  • Reads, interprets, and understands the contract requirements.

Requirements:

  • Requires a level of knowledge normally gained with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with disabled persons preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in custodial cleaning and floor care recommended.
  • Must have 2 years of previous leadership experience.
  • Must have experience with adhering to policies and guidelines and initiating discipline, counseling, and motivation.
