Professional Cleaning & Maintenance Services (PCMS) is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Floor Tech Supervisor to lead our evening floor care operations throughout the Houma area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional results, leading by example, and ensuring every facility meets our high standards of cleanliness and appearance.


Position Summary

The Floor Tech Supervisor is responsible for overseeing evening floor technicians, ensuring all assigned facilities receive high-quality floor care services, maintaining equipment, conducting quality inspections, and coaching team members. This leader will work closely with Operations Management to ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support evening Floor Technicians.
  • Perform and oversee:
    • Floor stripping and waxing
    • Burnishing and buffing
    • Auto-scrubbing
    • Carpet extraction
    • Deep floor restoration
  • Conduct quality inspections before leaving each facility.
  • Train and mentor new Floor Technicians.
  • Ensure proper chemical usage and floor care techniques.
  • Maintain company equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage nightly schedules and ensure assignments are completed on time.
  • Communicate staffing or operational concerns to management.
  • Respond professionally to customer requests and service issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

  • Previous floor care experience required.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial floor equipment and chemicals.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work independently while leading a team.
