Assistant Floor Tech Supervisor -Part-Time

Position Summary: The Assistant Floor Tech Supervisor supports the Floor Tech Supervisor in overseeing daily floor care operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership to guide floor tech staff, maintain equipment, and uphold facility standards.

? Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising floor care staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
  • Train new team members on the proper use of equipment and cleaning techniques
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment; report needs to the supervisor
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Conduct quality checks and provide feedback to team members
  • Support scheduling and shift coverage as needed
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and facility management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in custodial services preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in floor care or custodial services
