What are Floor Men?

Floor Men, often referred to as floorhands, are entry-level workers in the oil and gas drilling industry. Their primary responsibility is to assist in the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs, including handling drill pipes, cleaning and organizing the rig floor, and supporting the drilling crew.
