Description
This is a general job description of a position at Integrity National Corporation (INC) that is open for submission of resumes. The following summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed. The statements below are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
The Floor Technician performs routine and thorough floor maintenance tasks at assigned locations, including
cleaning, disinfecting, trash removal, and floor care using various equipment and chemicals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs routine and comprehensive floor maintenance of assigned locations per Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, clean carpet and upholstery, strip and wax tile floor, concrete, and terrazzo flooring by utilizing different methods and equipment including but not limited to single discs, boost machines, wet/dry vacuums, ride-on floor machines, squeegees, mops and buckets, razor floor scrapers, doodlebugs, buffing machines and numerous stripping/waxing chemicals.
  • Cleans and disinfects various indoor and outdoor areas and orders and stocks facilities with paper and supplies.
  • Removes trash in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensures safe work practices and procedures are followed in regard to maintaining, cleaning, and preserving a variety of surfaces.
  • Utilize a wide range of chemicals according to state and federal regulations.
  • Handling and disposing of waste and hazardous materials with care.
  • Lock and unlock assigned buildings: secure buildings when facilities are not in use, check for unlocked doors and windows, and report any unauthorized occupants if necessary.
  • Assist with setting up facilities for meetings, conferences, events, etc.
  • Attend emergencies when necessary.
  • Support and enforce all site policies, health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Per Site's requirements, drive to different working sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and safe transportation of personnel and equipment.
  • Report any necessary equipment repairs to the supervisor.
  • Any other duties as assigned and needed to help fulfill our mission and support our client while consistent with INC's policy and the collective bargaining agreement (if applicable).

EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One (1) year of related experience and/or training.

El Técnico de Pisos realiza tareas rutinarias y exhaustivas de mantenimiento de pisos en las ubicaciones asignadas, incluidas la limpieza, desinfección, retiro de basura y cuidado de pisos utilizando diversos equipos y productos químicos.FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES:
  • Realizar el mantenimiento rutinario y completo de los pisos en los lugares asignados, de acuerdo con la Declaración de Trabajo (SOW)
  • Barrer, trapear, restregar, limpiar alfombras y tapicería, decapar y encerar pisos de baldosas, concreto y terrazo, utilizando diferentes métodos y equipos, incluidos, entre otros: máquinas de disco simple, máquinas boost, aspiradoras húmedas/seca, máquinas de piso tipo ride-on, escurridores, trapeadores y cubetas, raspadores de piso, doodlebugs, abrillantadoras y diversos productos químicos para decapar y encerar
  • Limpiar y desinfectar diversas áreas interiores y exteriores; solicitar y abastecer las instalaciones con papel y suministros
  • Retirar la basura de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de las prácticas y procedimientos de trabajo seguro en el mantenimiento, limpieza y preservación de diversas superficies
  • Utilizar una amplia gama de productos químicos conforme a las regulaciones estatales y federales
  • Manipular y desechar los residuos y materiales peligrosos con cuidado
  • Abrir y cerrar los edificios asignados; asegurar los edificios cuando no estén en uso, revisar puertas y ventanas, y reportar cualquier ocupante no autorizado si es necesario
  • Ayudar en la preparación de las instalaciones para reuniones, conferencias, eventos, etc.
  • Atender emergencias cuando sea necesario

EDUCACIÓN:
