Major Responsibilities:

    As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care. You will partner with patients and families while building therapeutic relationships throughout the continuum.

    You will monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and adjust care plans as needed—collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective, patient-centered care in a variety of clinical settings.

    You will apply evidence-based practices and participate in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and patient outcomes.

    You will promote a culture of safety by identifying risks, intervening appropriately, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and team members.

    You will administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established protocols while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

    You will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, supporting team-based care and appropriate delegation.

    You may float to various units, departments, or care areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet patient care demands.

    You will uphold ethical standards, adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics, and contribute to an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.

    You will support ongoing professional development by completing education requirements, maintaining certifications, and seeking opportunities for growth.
