Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D)Travel assignment in a surgery center setting located in Littlefield, Texas, United States. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,110-$2,224 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: Nights. This assignment follows a 7-on/7-off schedule with 36/48 rotations. The unit supports 5-12 deliveries per month and nurses may float to Med Surg as needed. Charting is done in CPSI/ Thrive.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric care for laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status, contractions, and pain management.
- Assist with deliveries (vaginal and cesarean as applicable) and newborn care; ensure safe birth practices and immediate postpartum assessment.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions, adhering to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CPSI/ Thrive charting system; communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary team.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and support patient safety, infection control, and aseptic technique.
- Float to Medical-Surgical units as assigned, maintaining competency across unit scopes and contributing to overall patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Texas.
- L&D nursing experience preferred; ability to provide obstetric care in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work nights on a 7-on/7-off schedule with a 36/48 rotation.
- Comfort with floating to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn CPSI/ Thrive charting system.
