This position focuses on administering immunizations and supporting patient care programs while providing compassionate, personalized service. The Immunizing Pharmacist will be responsible for administering multiple vaccines, includingflu, shingles,COVID-19, and other approved immunizations, while promoting a positivehealthcareexperience for patients and customers. Candidate questionnaire must be completed and included with all submissions. Responsibilities Administer multiple immunizations, including: Influenza (flu) Shingles COVID-19 Other approved vaccines as needed Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to customers, patients, caregivers, and team members. Educate patients on vaccination programs andhealthcareservices. Support adoption and management of patient care initiatives. Collaborate with pharmacy teams andhealthcareprofessionals to improve patient outcomes. Adapt quickly to changing needs within a communityhealthcareenvironment. Promote a team culture built on caring, enthusiasm, accountability, and pride. Apply clinical knowledge and pharmacy expertise to support healthier communities. Required Qualifications ActivePharmacy Licensein the state of employment. CurrentImmunization Certificationthrough an accredited organization (such asAPhA). Valid Driver's License. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Must not be listed on theDEAExcluded Parties List. No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a patient-facinghealthcareenvironment. Preferred Qualifications PreviousCVS/Aetnawork experience. Experience administering vaccinations in a pharmacy, clinic, or communityhealthcaresetting. Strong patient engagement and counseling skills. Education Requirements Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy orPharm.D. degree required.
