Aircraft Maintenance Engineer: Your journey begins here! This position assists the Maintenance Department in the service, repair, and preventative maintenance of our growing fleet of aircraft. This role requires a thorough working knowledge of aircraft systems on multiple aircraft including air conditioning, hydraulics, engines, flight controls, landing gear, avionics, electrical generation, oxygen, fuel, pneumatics. The AME maintains engines and components including fuel systems, anti-ice, ignition, fire extinguishing, exhaust, oil, and engine indicating systems, as well as maintain aircraft systems and components including landing gear, airframe fuel, hydraulic and high pressure pneumatic, flight control, cabin environment, ice/rain protection, fire protection/detection, and doors/interiors and emergency equipment. The position reports to the Maintenance Lead. Applicants interested in a long-term opportunity will receive priority over others.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and approved documentation to facilitate aircraft maintenance to determine the appropriate method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Inspection and assessment of aircraft components and airframe including engines, landing gear, flight controls, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems in accordance with appropriate documents.
  • Conduct operational tests of engines and aircraft systems.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble.
  • Maintain, Track and Plan routine maintenance in computer system.
  • Coordinate with team for maintenance tracking and daily planning 
  • Complete basic inspection tasks; inspection of aircraft in accordance with service bulletins, airworthiness directives and aircraft manuals
  • Comply with company policy, procedures, and standards.
  • Keep current with technical published information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Hard Skills:


  • Valid AME "M" Type license (M1 & or M2 desired- Small and Large Aircraft)
    • Experience working on 1900D is desired. 
    • Must be able to obtain Maintenance Airport Security Clearance. 
    • Must hold valid Canadian passport.
