Job description

Position Overview

Flight Ops Specialists are key members of the Flight Operations team, helping to ensure all flights are fulfilled beyond client expectations. Flight Ops Specialists provide critical logistical support to the Charter Sales team and work closely with them to meet all flight requirements.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Flight Operations team handles all post-booking responsibilities of a charter flight, including concierge services, flight following, invoicing, payment tracking, and other essential functions.

  • Assist in charter flight trip management beyond the point of sale, working closely with the Charter Sales team, Accounting, and management.
  • Interact with direct air carriers (Operators), clients, third-party vendors, and any other stakeholder or service provider involved.
  • Prepare and update flight itineraries, cross-reference with Operator itineraries and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Organize ground transportation, catering, and similar concierge services for clients.
  • Update trip records with accounts payable/receivable information from Accounting.
  • Track and maintain invoices and records for any third-party services billed to trips.
  • Aid in flight-following using a combination of internal systems, public flight tracking software, and Operator correspondence.
  • Monitor weather, the FAA NOTAM system, airport logistical updates, and any other conditions which may affect a charter trip.
  • Finalize administrative flight requirements like invoices, charter documentation, and reports due to management.
  • Maintain evoJets’ sterling reputation with Operators and other industry partners by outputting clear, consistent, professional communication.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of aircraft operations procedures and Part 135 aviation regulations.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2yrs professional experience aircraft operations, client services, administration, or related field.
  • Schedulers/dispatchers, Part 135 Ops professionals, and similar backgrounds are strongly desired.
  • Business aviation experience is not required – you will be trained on our systems and the industry regardless of your background.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks are non-negotiable skillsets – you must be comfortable with juggling multiple tasks and adapting to changing situations.
  • Baseline PC, Microsoft Office and Google Apps skills are required.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in performance of duties and in representing the firm.
