Job description

Position Summary

The Line Service Technician supports all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews and passengers.

Essential Duties
  • Responsible for the ground movement of aircraft according to flight schedule.
  • Oversee and coordinate the fueling of aircraft in accordance with fuel quality control standards from specified vendor.
  • Assist with Client Logistics department coverage by handling customer calls and emails.
  • Operate and maintain various vehicles and ground service equipment.
  • Perform aircraft lavatory and potable water service.
  • Assist clients and pilots with loading and unloading baggage.
  • Assist pilots with aircraft pre and post flight services.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to facility cleaning, vehicle washing, aircraft cleaning and vacuuming.
  • Accurately make records of all fueling activities in compliance with current procedures.
  • Accurately maintain aircraft activities and hangar inventory record in compliance with current procedures.
  • Maintain inventory supply closets and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly flight line free of FOD and safety hazards.
  • Provide basic security to people and property.
  • Direct people, drivers and flight crews on ramp area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year work experience (FBO Environment Preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience using software programs such as Flight Schedule Pro and Airplane Manager preferred.

  • Ability to interact with professionalism and discretion with clientele.
  • Must be able to work independently and problem solve issues as they arise.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Skilled at managing customer demands and crisis with poise.
  • Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience which is at the core of Elite’s commitment to the Client.
