Job description

The CDL Driver (Customer Service Associate) is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals / beverage / equipment to assign flights.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative CDL Driver. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their needs are met. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flight

Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp

Interact with other customer service team members to identify and solve problems

Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service

Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes.

Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines.

Must have the ability to follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary.

Requirements:

Must have a Commercial Driver License (Class A or B)

Work assigned schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work overtime when required

Ability to speak, read and understand English

Comply with all work rules and regulations

Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure

Able to pass a basic written test

Ability to handle dry ice

Pass a DOT Pre-Employment physical test.

Pass a criminal background and an airport / TSA background check.

Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours

Must be able to lift and push up to 50+ lbs.

Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment

Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise.

This position requires to be active, walking, and intense physical activity

Will be exposed to various weather conditions and heights.
