Job description

About StretchLab

StretchLab is the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, helping people move better, feel better, and live better through customized stretch sessions that improve flexibility, mobility, and range of motion. We’re a passionate, upbeat team that loves movement and believes in creating a welcoming, inclusive studio where both clients and team members can thrive.

If you’re a motivated fitness or wellness professional who wants to grow, lead, and make a real impact in people’s lives, this role is for you.

Position Summary

The Lead Flexologist is the go-to leader of our Flexologist team and a key partner to the Studio Manager. You’ll balance delivering high-quality stretch sessions with mentoring the team, supporting scheduling, and helping drive an exceptional member experience every day.

This role is ideal for someone who loves hands-on client work but also wants leadership responsibility, a clear growth path, and a bigger voice in how the studio runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one and/or small-group assisted stretch sessions following StretchLab’s proven protocols.

  • Model best-in-class session quality, client care, and professionalism on the floor.

  • Coach, mentor, and support Flexologists through feedback, shadowing, and ongoing skills development.

  • Support with Recruitment and On-boarding of Flexologists.
  • Lead or assist with team meetings, trainings, and continuing education workshops.

  • Help manage the Flexologist schedule, studio coverage, and smooth daily operations.

  • Uphold studio standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety to create a five-star environment.

  • Partner with studio leadership to support membership growth, retention, and client satisfaction goals.

  • Participate in local events, community outreach, and brand-building activities as a studio ambassador.

Qualifications
  • Current certification or degree in one or more of the following (or related fields):

    • Personal Training, Group Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Massage Therapy, or similar movement/health discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in fitness, wellness, or bodywork; experience with assisted stretching is a plus.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities: mentoring peers, leading sessions/classes, or taking on key studio responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team-first mindset.

  • Genuine passion for helping clients improve mobility, reduce pain, and reach their health goals.

  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay for Lead Flexologists, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

  • Paid, comprehensive training in the StretchLab methodology and ongoing education to keep your skills sharp.

  • Complimentary stretch sessions so you can feel the benefits firsthand.

  • A clear path for career growth within StretchLab, including opportunities to move into advanced leadership roles.

  • A supportive, fun, and collaborative studio culture that values input from its team.

  • The chance to be part of a fast-growing brand at the forefront of the assisted stretching and recovery space.
