Description:

Sev Rend Corporation is a leading manufacturer of flexible retail packaging and sustainable materials. We are actively seeking to fill a Wide Web Flexographic Press Operator position at our advanced production facility in Collinsville, Illinois. This operator will be responsible for all flexographic printing operations, including mounting plates, mixing inks, press setup, and breakdown. This operator will run our state-of-the-art Uteco Onyx 808 Central Impression Gearless Flexo Press. This press features โ€œtouch and goโ€ print unit positioning, automatic โ€œprint to printโ€ register preset, interactive โ€œclick and dragโ€ register, automatic โ€œkiss and goโ€ pressure adjustment, and a 100% environmentally friendly water-based ink system. This operator will be responsible for quality, productivity, and waste, as well as loading and unloading equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machine operation experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • MUST have flexographic printing operator experience.
  • Set up equipment for daily production runs, including preparing materials and adhesives.
  • Monitor the lamination process to ensure proper bonding using 2-part adhesives.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with resolving production problems.
  • Handle materials, including pushing and pulling rolls using carts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
