Title: Insulation Sales Representative - Everett, WA | Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses
Pay Rate: Uncapped, industry-competitive commission + performance-based bonuses and incentives
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Everett, WA / Puget Sound Area

Summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Insulation Sales Representative to help homeowners improve the comfort, efficiency, and health of their homes. This role combines consultative in-home sales with residential insulation knowledge, energy-efficiency solutions, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) rebate programs, and an understanding of mold remediation and moisture control.

You will conduct home inspections, educate homeowners on available solutions, prepare accurate estimates and customized proposals, and guide customers through the process from initial inspection through project completion. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional who can build trust, explain technical options clearly, generate new business, and consistently close opportunities while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Generate new business through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, networking, and self-generated leads
• Conduct in-home consultations and inspect attics, crawlspaces, walls, and floors to assess insulation needs
• Identify moisture issues and potential mold concerns and recommend appropriate remediation and prevention solutions
• Educate homeowners on insulation upgrades, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, ventilation, air sealing, and moisture control
• Prepare accurate estimates and customized proposals for insulation and mold remediation services
• Explain and process PSE insulation rebates, ensuring required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted according to program guidelines
• Coordinate with project managers, office staff, and installation crews to support seamless project execution
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales, installation, and rebate process
• Develop long-term customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
• Document customer interactions, estimates, and sales activities accurately in CRM software
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in insulation, restoration, construction, home improvement sales, or a closely related field
• Proven experience with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) insulation rebate programs and rebate processing
• Knowledge of residential insulation systems, ventilation, air sealing, and energy-efficiency practices
• Understanding of mold remediation, moisture intrusion, and indoor environmental concerns
• Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and closing skills
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen to homeowners, explain options clearly, and coordinate professionally with internal teams
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple customers and projects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for required in-home customer appointments throughout the assigned territory
• Experience using CRM software, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office

Bonus Points If You Have

• Door-to-door or in-home sales experience
• Experience in restoration, water damage, mold remediation, weatherization, or environmental services
• Knowledge of Washington State building codes and insulation standards
• IICRC certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills

Compensation & Opportunity

• Uncapped, industry-competitive commission
• Performance-based bonuses and additional incentives
• Training on products, PSE rebate programs, and company processes
• Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement, if applicable
• Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization
• Eventual consideration for an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
