Senior Connect Ambassador Volunteer

Bethlehem, PA | Flexible Scheduling

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community, meet new people, and make a positive difference in the lives of active older adults?

Senior Connect is looking for passionate, dependable, and community minded volunteers to become Senior Connect Ambassadors. Our programs create opportunities for friendship, wellness, learning, and meaningful connections, and Ambassadors play an important role in making these experiences possible.

Senior Connect welcomes a variety of volunteers, including students looking to gain nonprofit experience or complete community service hours, active older adults who want to stay involved and share their talents, and individuals interested in an internship or future career in nonprofit work, recreation, wellness, community programming, social services, or senior programming.

What is needed for this job as a Senior Connect Ambassador Volunteer:

  • Must have completed 6th grade
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help
  • Dependable with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • No prior experience required (training provided, if applicable)
  • Ability to pass required clearances

The responsibilities we will trust you with as a Senior Connect Ambassador Volunteer:

  • Support Senior Connect Programs, activities, and special events
  • Welcome and connect with participants
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Assist with crafts, games, workshops, fitness, and social activities
  • Help with event setup, supplies, and cleanup
  • Support outreach and community engagement
  • Share a hobby, skill or talent
