Job description

Perfect Pitch Productions is looking for an experienced Camera Operator and Video Editor who is a positive, motivated, and organized individual interested in pursuing a career within a growing production company. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a flexible, professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude. This position requires travel to clients throughout the Tri-State area on a weekly basis. Some additional travel outside of this area will be required on a monthly basis.


We represent several high-profile automotive manufacturers, real estate companies, and medical offices, in addition to a number of other businesses across the country. Our company sets itself apart from the competition by always over-delivering and going the extra mile for our clients.


Requirements

  • Proficient in Editing with NLEs such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, & DaVinci Resolve
  • Proficient in the use of DSLR/Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras, Studio Lighting, peripheral camera equipment, and grip equipment
  • Ability to create motion graphics such as tracked text, lower thirds, masked object manipulation, and emphasizing text
  • Must be able to work under minimal direction to identify and resolve problems
  • Possess the capability to take something from concept to completion
  • Skills in Compositing, 3D modeling/animation, and color grading are a plus
  • Work well on a team and successfully take direction from supervisors and clientele
  • Adapt quickly and accept change – often have to toss our ideas and start fresh
  • Excellent eye for cinematography
  • Familiarity with film and/or commercial sets and their process and ability to learn workflow
  • Familiarity with balancing and operating stabilizers
  • Studio and Green Screen Experience
  • Must be comfortable dealing directly with clients
  • MUST HAVE A DRIVER’S LICENSE and be comfortable driving to shoots
  • Drone Operation License (Part 107) is a plus


Education

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • BA in Film, Cinematography, or equivalent skillsets (Preferred)


Experience

  • Production: 4 years (Preferred) preferably with a marketing / advertising agency. Experience with TV spot, TV promo, YouTube pre-rolls preferred
  • Video editing: 4 years (Preferred)

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am-6:00pm


Work Location: Hybrid remote (Tri-state Area)
