  • Support regular updates to the GACC South website
  • Help create flyers, graphics, sponsor materials, event signage, and other digital or print assets
  • Support event communication timelines, including invitations, reminders, attendee information, recaps, and follow-up campaigns
  • Assist with social media planning, posting, and basic performance tracking
  • Help organize photos, speaker information, sponsor assets, member content, and communications templates
  • Support on-site event communication needs, including signage, name badges, social media coverage, and attendee support
  • Proofread and format communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment
  • Coordinate with colleagues across the Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Carolinas, and regional teams

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English
  • German language skills preferred
  • Interest in international business, German-American relations, B2B communications, workforce development, or economic development
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Creative mindset and ability to turn information into clear, engaging content
  • Comfortable working with business professionals, members, and partners
  • Reliable, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
  • Willingness to occasionally support evening or weekend events
  • Valid U.S. work authorization

Nice to Have

  • First experience in marketing, communications, events, customer service, or project coordination
  • Experience with newsletters, websites, LinkedIn, or event campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, social media scheduling, or event management tools
  • Interest in photography, video, or visual storytelling
  • German language skills

  • Employer-paid life and long-term disability insurance
  • Access to a 401(k) plan
  • Hands-on experience in an international business environment
