About being our Land Surveyor

As our Land Surveyor, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of high‑impact projects across California. You will be part of a growing but established team whose skill sets span all levels, allowing you to learn from experienced colleagues. Your day could be as simple as helping process and develop a topographic map or researching and analyzing a complex boundary. We are at the forefront of technology and have opportunities for you to become heavily involved in LiDAR scan data acquisition, processing, and extracting and/or GPS technology.

Responsibility Highlights for our Land Surveyor
  • Organize and coordinate projects which include a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying/maps.
  • Use various databases to process field data.
  • Maintain and manage field survey data systems together with local and wide‑network operating systems.
  • Complete technical mapping and final drawings for agency submittals and specifications for approval.
  • Research and analyze title reports, ROW/E, ALTA’s, topography, and mapping.
  • Perform survey calculations, analysis, and field support calculations.
  • Work with various staff members, different disciplines, and other departments.
Minimum Qualifications to be our Land Surveyor
  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor in California.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in all phases of surveying, including public mapping experience (record of survey maps, legal description, and exhibits, etc.).
  • Proficient in industry standard software and management tools.
  • Knowledge of public agency codes, processes, and requirements.
