Job description

Location: Full-time | Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ | Four remote days and one on-site day per week | Candidates must reside in Arizona
Description:
We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain technology solutions that support business-critical systems. The selected candidate's level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
This position will develop reliable applications, databases, interfaces, reports, and technical documentation based on business requirements.
What You Will Do:
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and systems.
  • Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages and development practices.
  • Develop and maintain databases, system interfaces, application logic, and process flows.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
  • Develop and execute unit test plans.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, track, and resolve application and processing issues.
  • Participate in code and system reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and functional requirements.
  • Follow established source-control, versioning, and deployment procedures.
  • Analyze files and map data between systems.
  • Develop ad hoc reports for internal and external customers.
  • Research and respond to technical requests from internal customers.
  • Participate in projects by developing estimates, schedules, presentations, system modifications, and implementation plans.
  • Independently develop complex systems and provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers when required.
  • When assigned Scrum responsibilities, support sprint planning, retrospectives, demonstrations, backlog management, cross-team coordination, and team performance reporting.

What You Will Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience in computer or information technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, programming, query design, and database development.
  • Up to one year of project management or technical project leadership experience may be required for the Software Engineer III level.
  • Experience designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Knowledge of structured programming, data mapping, database development, and software testing.
  • Knowledge of query-design and ad hoc reporting tools.
  • Experience using source-control and versioning tools.
  • Programming and coding abilities appropriate for the assigned Software Developer level.
  • Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

-No sponsorship is permitted, as this is a temp-to-hire position.
-This is a Hybrid position, working 1 day a week in Phoenix, AZ.
