Bring Better to the Bedside as a Nocturnist Physician Assistant in Macon, GA at Piedmont Macon Northside

We are hiring for a nocturnist physician assistant position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of four physicians and two APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified/eligible physician assistant.
  • Two or more years of hospitalist experience as a PA is required.

Scheduling:

  • Flexible schedule with 7 days on/7 days off.
  • We understand the importance of spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That's why we offer a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross coverage calls on an ADC of 20-40 and approximately 2-3 admissions/night.
  • This nocturnist role works in a supportive environment that promotes balance and collaboration.
  • Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with tele-intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
