Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Machine operation: Set up, operate, and monitor door manufacturing machinery to bore hinges, route jambs, and machine various door types.
  • Assembly: Fabricate and assemble door components according to work orders, which includes cutting doors to size and adding hinges.
  • Quality control: Conduct inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machinery.
  • Production support: Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings, perform calculations for measurements, and assist with material and inventory management.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to maintain efficiency and output.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; and 6 months to 1-year related experience or on-the-job training.
