As a Team Building Facilitator, you'll lead groups through high ropes courses, climbing activities, and team-building challenges that build confidence, communication, and trust. You'll spend your days outdoors helping participants grow while creating meaningful experiences for children and adults with disabilities.
Schedule
• Part-time with flexible hours
• Events typically run from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
• Hiring for Fall 2026
• Position begins with required training August 24–28, 2026, with opportunities to continue year-round
Pay
• $17.42/hour during training
• $20–$25/hour based on the number of events facilitated. More events facilitated = greater earning potential
Locations
• Camp Friendship – Annandale, MN
• Camp Courage – Maple Lake, MN
• Willingness to travel to Camp Eden Wood in Eden Prairie, MN, as needed

Key Responsibilities
• Safely lead and supervise team-building and challenge course activities
• Facilitate group discussions and debriefs that encourage reflection and growth
• Set up, inspect, maintain, and store program equipment
• Communicate effectively with participants and fellow staff members
• Operate tools and equipment as needed
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive experience for participants of all abilities
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about helping others succeed. Ideal candidates will:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be available for required training August 24–28, 2026, and at least one weekday per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) thereafter
• Be comfortable with heights and physical activity
• Be willing to work at Camp Friendship and Camp Courage, with occasional travel to Camp Eden Wood as needed
• Have the ability to guide groups through challenges and encourage teamwork
• Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Successfully pass a background check
No Experience? No Problem!
Previous facilitation or ropes course experience is not required. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in the role.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Work primarily outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and remain active throughout events
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment
• Ability to hear and communicate verbally with participants and team members
