Job Title: Travel Float Pool RN – 13 Week Contract | Pennsylvania | 36 Hours

Job Description:

Looking for a flexible RN who thrives in a variety of inpatient settings? Join a Float Pool team supporting multiple hospital units while gaining diverse clinical experience.

Contract Details:

  • 13-week travel assignment
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 3x12-hour shifts
  • Self-scheduling (final schedule based on unit needs)
  • Every other weekend
  • Holiday rotation as needed

Float Areas:

  • CCU
  • Intermediate Care (IMC)
  • Medical Surgical
  • Skilled Care
  • Emergency Department (within competency)

Assignments are communicated by text within 2 hours before each shift.

Patient Ratios:

  • CCU: 1:2-3
  • IMC: 1:4-6
  • Med Surg: 1:5-8
  • Skilled Care: 1:8-10

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required for CCU/ED assignments
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience
  • ICU or ED experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable floating across multiple acuity levels
  • Telemetry interpretation skills required
  • Experience managing critical drips when assigned to CCU/ED
  • Strong adaptability, teamwork, and critical thinking
