Job description

Overview

We are hiring a Structural Engineer with an active Texas PE license and 7+ years of experience. This role mainly focuses on residential projects (about 95%), including single-family and some multi-family homes, with limited commercial work.


Responsibilities
  • Design structural components for residential and commercial projects

  • Perform calculations for wood, steel, and concrete structures

  • Work on foundations, slabs, and retaining walls

  • Apply design codes such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC

  • Review and resolve engineering issues

  • Collaborate with team members and support project delivery


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

  • 7+ years of structural engineering experience

  • Active Texas PE license (required)

  • Strong experience in residential design

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA, and MS Office

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
