What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site policies and financial institution protocols.
  • Support assigned armed post duties while maintaining awareness of high-value areas, assisting with security-related investigations, and following all applicable post orders and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Retired or Current Law enforcement or retired corrections is required.
  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
