The role involves overseeing the performance tuning, optimization, and support of enterprise-level Oracle and MySQL databases, ensuring high availability and adherence to SLAs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with MySQL and Oracle databases in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
• MySQL SQL, stored procedures, and indexing
• Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization
• Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and relational database design
• Experience with backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions
• Hands-on experience supporting production databases with SLAs
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred:
