Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Energy Conservation Engineer and reside in the Energy Conservation Services Group within the Power Services business line. Energy Conservation advances the efficient use of energy throughout the Pacific Northwest by working with utility customers, trade allies, industry, and other partners. This engineering position will support the facility and our customers in meeting the conservation targets throughout the Pacific Northwest. 

This is a part-time consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is remote based in Walla Walla, WA. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 and $45.00 depending on qualifications. 

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred. 
Manufacturing / industrial degrees or a directly related technical/engineering degree will be considered.
2 years of experience with energy conservation or renewable energy programs, projects and technologies is required.
A combined experience of 2 years or more in all of the following areas:
Experience auditing, modeling, and analyzing mechanical systems. 
Experience analyzing systems and processes with heat transfer, fluid dynamic, and thermodynamic principals for energy conservation improvements. 
Experience with energy savings calculations, energy models (i.e. Energy Plus) and data analysis methodologies. 
Project management experience.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID is required.

Preferred Skills:
