Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment approaches.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on resilience-building and trauma recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively support clients on their healing journeys.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that enable clients to process their trauma and develop healthy coping strategies.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their mental health needs are addressed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise in high-pressure situations.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, helping them understand pathways to healing.
  • Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience
