Job description

Overview

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is seeking a (Hybrid) Real Estate Video Marketing Specialist based within a commutable distance to our Niceville or Santa Rosa Beach, Florida offices. The primary purpose of this job is to be a multi-disciplinary marketer - moving fluidly between developing strategy, video storytelling/multimedia content creation, and execution to support our company and our customers (Real Estate Agents).
The ideal candidate is a video-first creator capable of planning, filming, and editing engaging short and long-form video content to support our company and real estate agents. While video production is the core focus of this position, the specialist will also support digital graphic design, social media scheduling, and internal brand communications as secondary responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties, and the position will perform other duties as assigned.

  • Graphic Design & Creative Strategy: Apply passion, skill, and impeccable creative eye to design high-quality visual assets, executing projects from concept to delivery—including, but not limited to digital graphics, social media content, web banners, digital advertisements, brochures, flyers, signage, and publications.
  • Social Media Growth & Brand Storytelling: Manage and elevate our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) with a "social media influencer mindset." Produce high-engagement content that shatters the "best kept secret" label, capturing the attention of consumers and real estate agents by showcasing our fun culture, elite training, resources, mentorship, coaching, and overall brand power, with the goal to make the brand look undeniable to the public and agents.
  • Event Marketing Support: Provide live event marketing support by capturing digital content and posting real-time updates. Help organize and implement company marketing events and initiatives (both in-person and virtually).
Video Strategy & Production: Lead or assist with the production of company video series and campaigns—including brainstorming, storyboarding, creative script writing, planning, production, and final output.
  • Digital Communications & Content Management: Design, build, and craft engaging copy for company communications, including newsletters and email announcements. Assist with web content, external websites, writing blogs, and maintaining our internal intranet to ensure resources are fresh, relevant, and valuable.
  • Internal Collaboration & Workflow: Work with the marketing team to brainstorm campaigns, maintain a cohesive content calendar, and ensure consistent content themes and brand standards are met across all regions.
  • Innovation & AI Adoption: Embrace the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive efficiency and creativity. Actively explore and implement AI tools to enhance marketing workflows, generate innovative ideas, and keep our real estate marketing strategies and agents ahead of the curve.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare marketing and recruiting strategies alongside the marketing team. Brainstorm new creative growth strategies and implement innovative solutions for user experience.
  • Resource Promotion & Management: Develop an understanding and promote the value of our resources, tools, and programs for our customers (generally in response to specific needs). This includes creating content that responds to agent needs.
  • Quality Assurance & Peer Review: Collaboratively review the work of marketing peers to ensure high quality, brand consistency, and accuracy before final output.
  • Digital Asset Management: Manage, organize, and maintain digital assets, including files, photos, and videos, providing assets and support to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Educational Training: Occasionally organize and lead marketing training and education (webinars and in-person) to guide staff agents on utilizing our resources.
  • Analytics & Trends: Measure, analyze, and report monthly performance of company resources, tools, and campaigns to gain insight and assess against goals. Stay up to date on trends, platform updates, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in marketing, graphic design, social media management, or digital content creation.
  • Visual Portfolio: A strong portfolio (or social links) demonstrating an eye for design and video storytelling capabilities is required.
  • Visual Storytelling: Photography, videography, and video editing skills are a strong advantage. Must be able to capture the moment and edit it into a compelling story.
  • The Digital Toolkit: Proficiency in design software and online design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is essential. Must also be fluent in office productivity suites, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Social Fluency: Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok). Experience with Meta Ads Manager is an advantage. Incumbents must understand how to drive engagement, not just post pictures.

  • Communication Style: Solid creative writing and communication skills are required (e.g., company communications, social media, website, & collateral copy). This role requires a skilled communicator who can write "human" copy—clever, clear, and engaging—rather than stiff corporate jargon.
  • Agile & Self-Driven: Must be a self-motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, shift priorities to meet business requirements, and deliver high-quality work without constant supervision.
  • Execution & Detail: Experience in taking solutions from ideas to implementation. You must possess meticulous attention to detail and be highly organized creativity needs structure to succeed.
